Taking scientific innovation as wings and craftsmanship to pursue dreams! The 2026 SAE China Baja Competition has concluded successfully. Hacint has deepened university-enterprise cooperation with the Taihang Racing Team of Henan Institute of Technology, making every effort to support young students competing in this top national scientific and innovative arena. It empowers talent cultivation with industrial strength, drives the integration of industry and education through competition innovation, and writes a new chapter of coordinated development between university and enterprise.

Hacint is deeply rooted in the intelligent equipment sector and continuously promotes the integration of industry and education to foster young innovative talents. In 2026, the company forged an in-depth partnership with the Taihang・Hacint Baja Racing Team from Henan Institute of Technology to jointly compete in the SAE China Baja Competition held in Tongxiang, Zhejiang.

The SAE China Baja Competition is China’s premier university vehicle engineering event. This year’s competition brought together 147 university teams nationwide, including prestigious institutions such as Tongji University, Harbin Institute of Technology and Jilin University. It attracts high public attention and has been featured in multiple special reports by CCTV. It serves as a rigorous arena to assess students’ capabilities in complete vehicle design, processing and manufacturing.

The Taihang Racing Team of Henan Institute of Technology boasts strong strength with a faculty advisor team consisting of doctors and masters. The team has won 3 national first prizes and 4 second prizes, and once claimed the national championship and runner-up of the competition. In this cooperation, Hacint coordinated supporting resources to assist the procurement and processing of components for the racing car’s suspension, braking system, power unit and driver safety equipment. In accordance with competition regulations, the corporate logo was displayed on the racing body, team flag, team uniforms and other carriers, appearing on the national competition arena alongside the race car.

During preparation, the team advanced the assembly of the whole vehicle in an orderly manner, finished component procurement and frame fabrication, polished competition reports, and carried out driver training and mock defenses. They fully prepared for all competition assessments to compete with students from universities across the country and demonstrate young learners’ engineering practical ability. During the event, Hou Gaoyang, General Manager of the Robotics Division of Hacint, visited the site for observation and guidance.

After the competition, the university and enterprise held a discussion and appreciation exchange meeting at Hacint on October 10. University leaders, teachers and team members visited the enterprise, shared their competition experience, and presented trophies, team flags, commemorative photos and other gifts. The teachers and students toured the production workshop and conducted in-depth exchanges on industry-university-research cooperation.

This competition cooperation marks an important practice of industry-education integration for Hacint. The two sides will further deepen cooperation in the follow-up stage, organize campus recruitment fairs to give priority to recruiting outstanding students from the team, arrange mutual visits and technical seminars, and explore joint technology development.

In the future, the team will move into the formula electric category and strive for higher competition honors. Hacint will continue to deepen collaborative talent cultivation with universities.
